# Email (default) Calendar Integration

**In BoardSpot, the Email calendar integration is the default and best option. By using the Email calendar integration, __all meeting invitations from your portal will be automatically added to your personal calendar__ and you will receive emails about them. From either the email or the calendar you can quickly RSVP.**

## To ensure your calendar is set to receive meeting invitations:
1. Under your profile on the sidebar menu, select `Calendar Preferences`.
2. Click the `Email (default)` option. (see screenshot below)
3. Hit `Save` .
