# Past Meeting Participants

**BoardSpot allows admins to accurately track participation and attendance in Past meetings. This article explains how to add participants to a meeting that happened in the past.**

|| Note: To add participants in a past meeting you must have administrative permissions for the portal.

# Adding Participants to a Past Meeting
## Adding participants and taking attendance:
1. Go to the past meeting's page.
2. Scroll down and select the Participants tab.
3. Click the `Edit participants` link. 
4. Tick the boxes beside the correct Participants in the popup modal. 
5. Click `Save`. 
6. To record attendance, stay on Participants tab and tick the boxes for Yes/No under "Attended".

# Editing Participants for a Past Meeting
##  Editing a meeting's participants:
1. Go to the past meeting's page.
2. Scroll down and select the Participants tab.
3. Click the `Edit participants` link. 
4. Tick/untick the boxes beside the Participants in the popup modal. 
5. Click `Save`.
