# Two-Factor Authentication

** BoardSpot allows each user to add Two-Factor Authentication (TFA) to their portal login, for added security. **

| Portal members can add TFA to their login without Org Admin assistance. 


# Two-Factor Authentication 
## Enabling TFA
1. Under your name on the sidebar menu, select `My Account` and select the `Two-Factor Authentication` link at the top of the page. 
2. Select the method of authentication preferred- either Text or an Authenticator App by clicking `Set up application` OR `Set up phone number`.
3. Follow the steps indicated. 
4. Verify and `Save`.
