Disabling Document Dowloads

BoardSpot allows the Organization to disable downloading of specific types of documents. this article explains the details.




Disabling downloads requires the Professional or Enterprise Plans and is a setting that requires Organization-wide Admin permission.


Disabling Document Downloads

To Disable Document Downloads:

  1. As an Org-wide admin, navigate to Settingson the sidebar menu. and select the Organization Settings.
  2. Scroll to the "Access & Display" section. Toggle ON to disable downloading of specific types of documents across the portal. Note: This is a portal wide feature and once toggled ON that type of document cannot be downloaded from anywhere in the portal.
  3. Click Save Organization.
