Document Viewing
Viewing Documents in BoardSpot is easy both inside the portal and in another browser tab. This article explains the document viewer functionality.
BoardSpot's document viewer is used for Governing Documents, Committee Documents, all documents attached to Meetings, all documents attached to Agendas, all documents attached to Minutes, and Meeting Packets. The document viewer works for all types of documents- including powerpoint, word, excel, images, and pdfs.
To open a document inside the portal, simply click on the name of the document. The document viewer will slide open on the right hand side. To close the document viewer click on the X at the top left of that section.
To open a document in another browser tab, hover over the name of the document and click on the "Open in new tab" symbol.
To download a document to your device, hover over the name of the document and click on the "Download file" symbol.
