Adding and Updating People

People profiles are an integral part of the board portal, and BoardSpot makes managing your people straightforward and fast. Board Members, Committee Members, Staff, and Guests can access and make changes to their own profile from the People page. This article details how Organization Admins can add and update the people within their portal.

Organization Admins and Committee Admins can mange people. Contact your organization's administrator(s) for assistance with these tasks.

Adding a person:

Log in as an admin user for the organization.
Click the + Create button in the top right of the application, and select + Person.
Fill out the person’s information in the fields provided.
Click Save.

Adding a person:

Once you are ready to give the new person access to your BoardSpot portal, navigate to the People home page, and click Send all invites. Then ask them to check their inbox.

Updating a Person:

Log in as an admin user for the organization.
Navigate to the People home page and click on the ellipses, then select Edit next to the person; or click on their profile photo throughout BoardSpot, and click the ellipses and select Edit.
Update the person as needed.
Click Save to complete the update.

Updating a person:

Sending out portal invitations for the first time:

As an Org Admin, navigate to the People page.
Use the Send all invites link. This will send an invitation email to all members of your portal whose profile shows "not yet invited". (Note: this email is not customizable. If you prefer to send invitations one-by-one follow instructions below.)

For members who have not accepted their invitation to BoardSpot:

As an Org Admin, navigate to the People page.
2.Click on the three horizontal dots to the right of the profile.
Select Resend Invite link. Email will automatically be sent to this member.
