Using BoardSpot People
Logging In
Logging in to BoardSpot is quick and easy. To log in: Navigate to www.boardspot.com. Click ‘Log in’ in the top right corner. Your email address is your user name. The People home page lists everyone who is in the organization, categorized by their role. Board Members Board members can view information and documents across the entire organization. Staff Staff can view information and documents across the entire organization. Guests Guests can only view information related to the committees they are members of. The time zone in each user's profile is a critical tool for keeping everyone on time to meetings no matter where they are, anywhere in the world. To update your time zone: Navigate to your profile icon on the top right, when logged in to BoardSpot. Select 'My Account' from the drop down menu. Scroll to bottom of that account setting list, and use drop down menu to indicate the accurate time zone. Click Save to make the update. People profiles are an integral part of the board portal, and BoardSpot makes managing your people straightforward and fast. Adding a Person: Log in as an admin user for the organization. Click the + Create button in the top right of the application, and select + Person. Fill out the person’s information in the fields provided. CliSome readersRemoving and Restoring People
Within BoardSpot it is easy to remove a person from your People list, your committees, and your meetings. It is also possible to restore their profile should they return. Deleting/Archiving a Person: Log in as an admin user for the organization. Navigate to the People home page. Click on the ellipses next to the person, and select Remove.
