Portal Member Calendar Issues

As a portal member, all meeting invitations you receive from BoardSpot will be sent to you based upon the preferences in your Profile.

To confirm or update the way you receive portal meeting invitations:

Go to your name on the sidebar menu and select the down arrow.
Click on Calendar Integration. Here you can confirm your email/calendar current selection, or update your choice (see options below) and Save your selection.
Option 1: If you want to receive an email in your Inbox and have the meeting appointment appear on your calendar automatically, then select the "Email (default)" option. When your portal admin schedules a meeting you will receive both an email in your inbox, and an appointment on your personal calendar. You can RSVP to the meeting from either the email or the calendar. Super easy!
Option 2: If you prefer to use the ICS/iCal feed option and view a separate calendar for your board meetings, then select "Advanced Preferences". There you will find an ICS/iCal link you can add to your calendar system (copy and paste the link provided). Our help desk article shows step by step instructions. Portal meetings will then appear on that separate calendar, and not on your personal calendar. Be sure to view both so you can avoid scheduling conflicts.
Extra Setting: Should you wish to receive an email in your Inbox for meetings, but NOT have any appointments added to your calendar automatically, select the "Advanced Preferences" and turn OFF the calendar invitations toggle, but leave the meeting emails toggle turned ON. You will then need to manually add each meeting to your own personal calendar, or view the separate ICS/iCal feed calendar. The meeting's details can be found in the email.
Note: you can use Option 1 AND Option 2 above, by having the email and calendar toggles both ON, under "Advanced Preferences". This will mean you have meetings appear on both your personal calendar and the separate ICS/iCal calendar.
