Overview of Calendar Integration Options
BoardSpot portals are created to allow members to choose between two options for how they receive meeting invitations. The Email integration (the default option) puts the meetings directly on the member's personal calendar. The Calendar Feed integration puts the meetings on an additional calendar, within their personal calendar program. In BoardSpot, the Email calendar integration is the default and best option. By using the Email calendar integration, all meeting invitations from your portal will be automatically added to your personal calendar and you will receive emails about them. To Subscribe to your portal's calendar: In the portal, under your profile menu, select Calendar Integration. Select Calendar Feed and Copy the link provided there. Open your Google Calendar. On the left, next to "Other calendars," click the + button. Select the From URL option. Paste the link copied earlier into the field, then click Add calendar. To Subscribe to your portal's calendar: In the portal, under your profile menu, select Calendar Integration. Select Calendar Feed and Copy the link provided there. Open your Microsoft 365 Outlook calendar. Just below the small calendar preview, click on Add Calendar. HINT: If you don't see the Add Calendar link then you need to open the left tray by clicking on the ☰ icon next to the New event button. Choose “Subscribe from web” in the dialog that appears. Open the Calendar App on your iPhone, iPad, or other iOS device. Select "Calendars" at the bottom of the main view, then select "Add Calendar." Most Calendar Applications will allow you to subscribe to your BoardSpot meetings. The following tips will help you get started: In the portal, under your profile menu, select Calendar Integration.
