General Account Information (for Administrators)
This article highlights some additional details about your BoardSpot account.
The recommended calendar integration is the default, email-based integration, which adds events to a member's default personal calendar. Each member can set this under their profile icon at the top right, by clicking the down arrow and selecting Calendar Integration.
If your organization would prefer to use a separate calendar for board meetings, using the calendar sync feature is a good option for your members. Note: this will mean each member will need to subscribe to the organization's board meeting calendar.
Under Settings in the left sidebar menu, Organization Admins can access the Email Report.
This report shows the Email Subject, Recipient, Date Sent, and Sent By name for all emails that have been sent from your portal.

Under Settings on the left sidebar menu, Organization Admins can access the Trash.
People, Committees, Meetings, Document Groups, and Documents can all be put into the Trash.
Items in the Trash are archived, and can be restored at any time. BoardSpot does not delete anything in your Organization's Trash.
Under Settings in the left sidebar menu, Organization Admins can access the Billing page.
This page shows the Plan of your portal, the payment schedule, the Payment Methods stored, and links to the invoices and receipts for your account.
##Organization Settings:
Under Settings on the left sidebar menu, Organization Admins can access the Organization Settings.
This page is where Org Admins can toggle on/off the voting permissions for Ex Officio members.
This page is where Attendance report access is set.
This page is where Org Admins can toggle on/off the display of profile titles and roles, which appear on the Board of Director and Committee pages.
There are several benefits in leveraging our data migration service to help set up your board portal.
- The primary benefit is time and effort savings for your team, especially if you already have a list of your members in digital form.
- We will ensure that the portal is configured with general nonprofit board governance best practices.
- We can create past meetings for you in the software, to house previously approved meeting minutes.
- We'll ensure that your Board and committees are all configured with the correct settings and permissions, based upon conversation with you.
