General Account Information
This article highlights some additional details about your BoardSpot account.
Under Settings in the left sidebar menu, Organization Admins can access the "Email Report".
This report shows the Subject, Recipient, Sent By, and Date information for all emails that have been sent from your portal.
If you have questions about email deliverability check out the help desk article. In our experience, the vast majority of the time a board member reports not receiving portal emails the reason is one of the topics covered in that article. If you have additional questions, please feel free to chat with the BoardSpot team.
Under Settings in the sidebar menu, Organization Admins can access the Trash. Note: only Org Admins have the Settings link in their sidebar menu.
People, Committees, Meetings, Document Groups, and Documents can all be put into the Trash.
Items in the Trash are stored there, and can be restored at any time. BoardSpot does not delete anything in your organization's Trash.

The Billing page shows your BoardSpot Plan (Essentials, Standard, Professional, and Enterprise), the payment schedule, your stored Payment Methods, and links to the invoices/Receipts for your account.
Under Settings in the left sidebar menu, Organization Admins can access the Organization Settings. Note: only Org Admins have the Settings link in their sidebar menu.
This page is where Org Admins can toggle on/off the voting permissions for Ex Officio members.
This page is where the Attendance reporting access is set.
This page is where Org Admins can toggle on/off the display of profile titles and roles, which appear on the Board of Director and Committee pages.
Under Settings in the sidebar menu, you can find the "Calendar Integration" link.
The recommended calendar integration for portal members is the email-based integration, which adds meetings directly to a member's personal calendar (the one associated with the email address they use for the portal) when the admin sends out an email from the portal about each meeting. The email-based integration is the default setting for all profiles added to the portal, so no changes are required. Note: If your members wish to turn off invitations from appearing on their email-associated calendar, they can do this under their profile settings by toggling the "Do not send calendar invitations to my email address" option.
If the portal member would prefer to use a different calendar for receiving board meeting invitations (not the one associated with the email address they use for the portal), then choosing the calendar feed is an option. Note: this will mean the portal member will need to monitor that separate calendar to avoid scheduling conflicts.
BoardSpot has a full integration with Zoom. This integration allows your organization to generate new Zoom video conference calls from within the portal.
Because you will not need to log into Zoom to create video conference call links, your meeting setup will be faster and easier.
Each person in your organization who will run meetings can link their Zoom account to the portal. This will allow them to start/end calls, admit participants, etc..
BoardSpot's Zoom integration can use both free and paid Zoom accounts so there is no need to set up another paid software subscription.
There are several benefits in leveraging our data migration service to help set up your board portal. For data migration pricing please contact the BoardSpot team.
The primary benefit is time and effort savings for your team, especially if you already have a list of your members in digital form.
We will ensure that the portal is configured with general nonprofit board governance best practices.
We can create past meetings for you in the software, to house previously approved meeting minutes.
We'll ensure that your Board and committees are all configured with the correct settings and permissions, based upon conversation with you.
